How I spent 2003.

OK, LL...since Ya asked real nice, here's a brief run-down.


Do Y'all remember Mindy?
Well, I've heard that she's still living with her crank-head boyfriend, but I, myself, haven't heard from her for more than a year.
Sherry...like the flake she is...went back to her husband. Supposedly she has left him again since, but like Mindy, I haven't heard from her for a year.
Oh, well...at least I got both of them before they wandered off to the land of crystal palaces.

My best friend and business partner of 8 years got hooked on crank, bankrupted our company, lost pretty well everything he owned, screwed me out of nearly $50,000, and tried to blame ME for everything. [img]graemlins/grrr.gif[/img]
Fortunately, everyone knows better.
He is now living with a crank-whore and her 3 teenage kids in a trailer with no power or water somewhere 2 hours west of town.
Gee...I can really pick 'em, can't I?

The old lady who owned my deer lease sold the place and kicked us off a week before season ended, but I've already found a new one.

Whitetail, Mulies, turkey, quail, dove, hogs, bass, and some of the most amazing scenery you've ever seen! It's in what used to be called "The Badlands" a ways west of Medicene Mound. (Eat your heart out, Wild!)
Lots of Indian artifacts, too.</font>

My wife, Bobbie, on the other hand, has severe carpal-tunnel syndrome and cyatic nerve problems and is scheduled for surgery next week.

On the UP side, though, I've gone into business for myself now, and am starting to do fairly well,...thanks to the fact that all of our old customers are calling me since my ex-partner no longer has a working phone.

Bobbie and I are getting along better than ever and my cardiologist says I'm the healthiest heart patient he's ever seen.

Oh, and somehow I ended up with all of my ex-partners guns...2 new rifles and 3 new pistols.

OK...Now Y'all are up-to-date.

This was one of those days that I'm just now gettin' on the puter and I wasn't gonna try to post anything, but when I read your update I just HAD to....LOL!

I'm really sorry about the bad times ya went through, but ya sound like you're doin' real well now! It's great to hear that doc's report - and I sure hope Bobbie's surgery goes just perfect and she gets all healed up real fast. I know that's painful. And I'm glad y'all are gettin' along better!

Now if we can just keep you from "pickin' 'em" - maybe we can keep your a$$ out of a sling. [img]smile.gif[/img]

That lease sounds like a dream - dunno where Wild is today, but when he gets on here and reads that he's probably gonna have fantasies about that lease for at least a good week!

Keep that business goin' uphill - I know you can do it. I think you're probably lucky to be rid of that "partner" under the circumstances. I'm sure workin' out all the details was a pain in the butt - but it'll be well worth it.

I'm fixin' to hit the sheets - my damn back is killin' me - has been all day. And that sucks! [img]frown.gif[/img] And "heck yeah" on the recipes....start a thread for 'em - I'm sure lots of us would like some new things to try. I hate it when I get in a rut and just keep cookin' the same old same old.
